Lightroom 6 had a long delay in showing thumbnails. With Classic (version 7) thumbnails always appear instantly. And then scrolling down causes more waiting. With version 6 I have to wait for the gray squares to be replaced with thumbnails when going to a folder I haven't loaded in a while.
